Development of the User Interface component for the CustomTV project. CustomTV was an EU funded proof of concept which integrated MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and the then under development new MPEG standard for content description.
The UI was developed with Java.

Coms.com, for a few months also known as Parable Telecommunications offered a unified messaging platform to its customers. My role was to develop the telecommunications part as well as designing the data model. The core application was written in C (multithreaded) and dealt with handling phone calls: call forwarding depending on a particular schedule, storing voicemails and faxes.
